A plea for help from the Firefighters Volunteer Association of Nepal
To Whom It May Concern
Dear Sir/Madam,
I kindly inform you that Nepal is a developing country. Due to the nature of the Himalayan country and diversity in its landscape, we are facing many fire-related disasters that with lack of resources and widespread poverty, are difficult to manage.
The government and other related organizations are not prepared to address these fire issues as their time and resources are spent on ensuring that citizens’ basic needs are met FAN is an organization that is working voluntarily and independently within this field. We aim to combat the aforementioned problems but, unfortunately, we do not have the resources as we rely solely on donations and voluntary aid.
The type of support we provide to communities in need includes:
1. Fire engines and ambulances
2. Emergency equipment
3. Problem-solving
4. Financial support
5. Training books, videos and other publications
However, we cannot continue to provide assistance to this people without your help. I urge you to get in touch as soon as possible.
Yours Faithfully,
Kewal Kumar Chapagain
