Scott Safety acquires ISG/Infrasys

Scott Safety, a Tyco business, has acquired ISG/Infrasys, a leader in the design of thermal imaging cameras.
Founded in 1992, ISG is currently an independent company based in suburban Atlanta (GA) with additional facilities in California and the UK. ISG designs and develops thermal imaging technology for firefighters.
The combination of ISG and Scott makes Tyco one of the largest global suppliers of hand-held thermal imaging cameras, and adds another range of products to Scott Safety’s portfolio of life safety products for first responders, military personnel, and industrial workers around the world.

The transaction closed November 20.
